This year's Clay Pigeon Shoot will take place on Friday 1st July 2011 and will be held at the same shooting ground as last year Woodlands Pursuits Ridgewood, Irons Bottom, Sidlow, Nr Reigate Surrey RH2 8QG.
We will be organising an assorted 80 Bird Competition (40 Bird Competition for novices), and a flurry team shoot (5 guns). You will be given an allocated time during the morning to shoot the Flurry.
Please arrive for 9.00 - 9.30am when you arrive there will be tea, coffee and bacon rolls available, and the shooting will start at 10.00am.
The competition will be split into the following categories:
Regular Shooters
People working in or Retired from the London Insurance Market or Club Member.
80 Bird Open Competition
(any gun)
Or
80 Bird Side by Side Competition
(Side by Side gun only)
Friends not working in the Insurance Market 80 Bird Guest Competition
(any gun)
Plus
All Regular Shooters Flurry Team Shoot (5 Guns)
Novice Shooters
(With Qualified Coach)
People who have never shot before Tuition followed by a
and working in the London insurance 40 Bird Novice Competition
Market
Unfortunately we will have to limit the number of novice shots and this will be allocated on a strictly first apply/pay basis. We also regret that the Novice Competition will be restricted to people working in the London Insurance Market.
Friends not working in the Insurance Market are welcome to the day's main shoot provided they are regular and safe shots. They will shoot their own separate Guest 80 bird competition..
After the morning's shoot there will be a Barbecue lunch, included in the cost, followed by the usual prize giving. Should you require extra lunches for non-shooting guests please let us know in advance (Cost £ 15.00 each). You are welcome to bring a cool box.

This annual event is becoming more popular each year and we are limited on our maximum number of shooters at the ground. Entries will be accepted on a strict first apply/pay basis.
